Electronic and electrical plastics | Plastic recycling Line

Time:2019-06-18

The development trend of the industry requires electronic and electrical enterprises to pay attention to the easy cycle design of plastic parts, so that it is easy to disassemble, easy to sort, and easy to sort. It is required to dismantle the enterprise to rationally plan the process flow and classify the disassembled plastic parts. It is required to sort and regenerate enterprises to clean and sort efficiently, to ensure the purity of recycled plastic pellets, and to be easily used for processing electronic and electrical plastic parts.

In 2018, the plastics and modified plastics for household appliances exceeded 10 million tons. The construction of closed loops of electronic and electrical plastics will greatly increase the recycling ratio of the industry and improve the application level of recycled plastics. 1. More than 25% of waste plastics for hybrid electronic appliances cannot be sorted, and the field of electronic and electrical plastics manufacturing needs to be changed.

According to statistics, in 2018, China’s household appliances use more than 10 million tons of plastics, including ABS, HIPS, PP, PC&search_type=1″style=”color:#3f89f7;text-decoration:none;”target=”_blank”title=”ABS /PC”>ABS/PC, AS, PC, PA, POM, PET, and enhanced PBT plastics are more common.

According to the current home appliance dismantling technology, most of them use manual dismantling, and most of them are crushed after simple disassembly. Metals, plastics and other materials are sorted. Generally, the sorting of waste household appliances and plastics will use a combination of various sorting methods. Separation by density method sorting, electrostatic sorting, color selection, and photoelectric sorting. Even with a combination of multiple sorting methods, more than 25% of mixed household waste plastics cannot be sorted. According to the consumption of 10 million tons of electronic appliances in 2018, more than 2.5 million tons of mixed plastics were discarded into the environment or incinerated, resulting in serious waste of resources.

To this end, the China Resin Resin Association Plastics Recycling Branch proposed that the “Design Specification for Plastics for Recyclable Household Appliances” should be prepared, from the source of plastics used by household electrical appliances enterprises to design easy recycling, improve recycling rate, reduce recycling and utilization of high-tech equipment and Investment dependence increases overall social efficiency.

Second, the home appliance dismantling industry faces a larger scale of integration and further improvement of the fund system

The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the Ministry of Commerce recently jointly issued the “Implementation Plan for Promoting the Recycling of Key Consumer Goods and Smooth Resources Recycling (2019-2020)”, which emphasizes: strict implementation of the old product elimination regulations, and efforts to improve the recycling of used products. Dismantle the system. Promote the reform of the waste electrical and electronic products processing fund, and actively resolve the business pressure of dismantling enterprises. Accelerate the establishment of information security management norms for waste electronic products, build remanufacturing enterprises and product supervision mechanisms, and continuously improve the utilization level of old product resources.

After the introduction of the fund system, the state clearly stated in the official documents that “the reform of the disposal of waste electrical and electronic products will be promoted” and release important signals! It is a major positive for the dismantling industry.

For dismantling enterprises, the specification and process management of plastic parts dismantling is a good time to practice internal strength.

Third, the national standard for reprocessing plastics will be introduced soon, and it is required to meet the RoHS-related limit requirements, which may have a substantial impact on the export of electronic and electrical regenerative plastics factories in China.

Global electronic appliances have different requirements for hazardous substances such as heavy metals. Europe and Japan are strict. There are different requirements in various states in the United States. There are basically no clear requirements in Africa and Southeast Asia. Recycled plastics derived from electrical and electronic waste plastics are due to the presence of a large number of flame retardants. Excessive standards for related restricted substances may become normal.

The national standard for reprocessed plastics will soon be introduced, and it is required to meet the RoHS-related limit requirements, which may have a substantial impact on the export of electronic and electrical regenerative plastics factories in China.

4. With the completion of the revision of the Basel Convention, the global waste industry will undergo a new round of changes, and the global supply fear will continue to decline.

The amendments to the Basel Convention, which came into force in 2021, will have a substantial impact on the global scrap trade and supply of renewable materials. The global supply of recycled materials is likely to continue to decline, especially for ABS, hips, PP and other varieties derived from household electrical waste plastics. Electric waste recycling materials will be sought after. The feasibility of dismantling enterprises into the recycling granulation industry is increasing.
